How long have you got? We’re lots of different things to different people – we’ve redefined the idea of the social club and re-engineered it for the new generation.

Influenced by our road trips, love of retro-Americana and sports heritage we’ve designed a campus of play spaces with an old-school vibe.

At our core we’re a day-to-night hangout which offers our guests amazing experiences whether that’s chilling in our Lobby lounge, a casual afternoon drinks, whooping your bestie’s a*** on the Shuffleboard or going full ‘out-out’ on a weekend.

We’re all about getting our guests involved right from the very first “Hey” from our welcoming committee on Reception – because when the crowd has a great time and goes wild, we know we’re winning.

Our Liverpool venue is based in the heart of the city’s Ropewalks area at 45-61 Duke Street.
Art Deco in style, it was a dingy, unloved car park in its last incarnation and as you can see we’ve breathed new life into it.

PINS’ Duke Street fascia is our literal shop window with its distinctive floor to ceiling glazing, whilst our rear entrance onto Wolstenholme Square (formerly the home patch of super club Cream) gives guests access coming from the Bold Street and Seel Street area.

Address: PINS Social Club, 45-61 Duke Street, Liverpool L1 5AP.

Technically yeah, there is a bar, and there is bowling (12 full-sized lanes at the last count), but there’s a whole lot more….

(Deep breath…) we’ve got American Pool, English Pool, Table Tennis, Shuffleboard and Beer Pong to name just a few activities.

There’s a kitchen that rustles up insane pizza and sorts you out on the weekend with our brunch & bowl combo. Speaking of bevvies, there’s lengthy lists of cocktails, and mocktails to work through, and brilliant beers and spirits galore, from the sublime to the painfully cool and obscure.

Then there’s our weekly events, some big, some small, and some like Christmas that have the run of the whole venue.

There’s music and DJs and live sport on numerous screens, oh and did we mention The Roof?

We’ve got a Roof. A big one, with a purpose built Lodge, with a bar and an outside kitchen too. Getting the gist?

So maybe, just maybe, the answer is No?

If you’re referring to overlit bowling sheds on retail parks with questionable beer it’s time to think again. Take a look back at question 3 (and at your life choices.)

Our kitchen team are slinging crowd-pleaser burgers and pizzas all day every day!

If you’re venturing up to The Roof we’ve also got an open-air kitchen – keep an eye on our Socials for more details on menus.

‘Course. Everyone’s welcome, whatever their age or ability – from sporty Nans, talented toddlers or moody teens there’s no sore losers on our watch. Please be aware however that we are an 18+ venue after 6pm and a 21+ venue after 9pm (Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.)

We’re pro anything pupper and well-behaved hounds are more than welcome – complimentary water bowls and tummy rubs are available at the bar. Assistance animals are naturally welcome in all areas of the venue.

It all depends what you fancy doing tbh. If you’re in the market for racking up the strikes then weekends tend to be busiest and yes, you should definitely book in advance. This is after all Liverpool Bowling at its best and worth making the effort.

If however you just fancy a quiet corner with drinks, pitch up and we’ll make you feel equally at home. Check the What’s On page for more details on all our events or give us a call if you’d like to speak to a human.

Yes, there is level access from street level to our Reception and Lobby on Duke Street and into the Main Bar at the rear of the venue. We have a fully accessible lift running between all floors and The Roof. If you have any questions regarding the facilities available at the venue before visiting, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Hmm, where to start? There’s usually something going down every day tbh.

We’ve week-in-week-out events like Tuesday’s ‘On The House’ where you can enjoy free activites when you bowl – to our Brunch and Bowl on a Saturday afternoon that’s perfect for groups with free-flowing drinks and endless pizza.

Happy Hour runs Monday to Friday from 4pm – 7pm, with offers to be had on some of our most popular lines.

And as you’d imagine, Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest days. Friday Night Bandstand gives American TV show feels and featuring bands and musicians, whilst Saturday Parade is our weekend party night, with runway dancers, performers and DJs putting on the biggest show in town.

(And we also rustle up a decent Roast too every Sunday, bring your hangover and some pals.)

If you’re driving, there’s pay and display parking on-street around the venue along with secure Q-Parks off Hanover Street and also in Liverpool ONE. We’re centrally located for major bus routes into the city, a five-minute walk from Liverpool Central Station and around ten mins mooch from Liverpool Lime Street Station. All of the local taxi companies know us well – just ask for PINS Duke Street.

Nope, sorry, no matter how fancy your footwear we want to show our lanes some love and that means no heels and certainly no stillies anywhere near them.

We’ve plenty of flat-soled bowling shoes for you to loan, and whilst they’re not this season’s Gucci they’re a great leveller when your team are all dressed the same.

We don’t offer a cloakroom or socks for the bowling shoes but they are all cleaned and you’re welcome to bring your own jazzy socks.

Bring on the group pics.

So it all depends on how many bowlers make up your team. We usually estimate a game of bowling takes 10 mins per bowler so if 4 of you were bowling, allow 40 minutes for a game.

Yep, absolutely – come on, who wouldn’t want to give the gift of PINS all year round, we’re lovely – just follow the link here.

Booth, table and small groups up can book directly via our booking system here.

For larger groups and corporate events and functions we can also tailor bespoke packages such as arranging drinks on arrival and food options to accompany activities and events.

We do not welcome Stags and Hen do’s, and operate a fancy dress code (no trackies, trainers, etc.)

No sweat. Why not give us a ring on 0151 370 0000 or drop us an email to [email protected]  We’ve real-life human beings behind the scenes and they’re always more than happy to help.
